The Wabassi Project
Discovery Harbour Resources Corp. has earned 51% ownership of the Wabassi propery in Northern Ontario through an agreement with Northern Shield Resources Inc. (NRN.V) The Wabassi property is being explored for Copper (Cu), Zinc (Zn), Gold (Au) and Silver (Ag).
What is VMS? Volcanogenic Massive Sulfide (VMS) Deposits are major sources of copper, zinc, lead, gold and silver. They typically occur as lenses of polymetalic massive sulfide that form at or near the sea floor in submarine volcanic environments and are classified according to base metal content, gold content, or host rock lithology. Wabassi is potentially the first new VMS district discovered in Canada in the last 20 years.
